Clopidogrel Bisulfate USP, equivalent to Clopidogrel 75 mg.
Secondary prevention of atherothrombotic events.
Single daily dose of 75 mg. Loading dose may be given depending on the condition.
Orally, with or without food.
Bleeding, gastrointestinal disorders, blood and lymphatic system disorders, nervous system disorders, skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders, respiratory, thoracic, and mediastinal disorders, vascular disorders, renal and urinary disorders, musculoskeletal, connective tissue, and bone disorders, reproductive system and breast disorders, immune system disorders.
Patients with hypersensitivity to clopidogrel or excipients, severe hepatic impairment, active pathological bleeding.
Bleeding risk, surgery, hepatic impairment, renal impairment, CYP2C19 inhibitors and inducers, Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP), Acquired haemophilia, Recent ischemic stroke.
Oral anticoagulants, Glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors, Acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), Heparin, Thrombolytics, NSAIDs, SSRIs, CYP2C19 inhibitors, CYP2C19 inducers, Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPI), Boosted anti-retroviral therapy (ART), Opioid agonists.
Take it immediately if within 12 hours. If more than 12 hours, take the next dose at the regular scheduled time. Do not double the dose.
