Lisinopril Dihydrate USP, equivalent to 10mg of Anhydrous Lisinopril.
Treatment of hypertension, heart failure, and acute myocardial infarction (in hemodynamically stable patients within 24 hours of the event).
Hypersensitivity to lisinopril or other ACE inhibitors, history of angioedema, hereditary or idiopathic angioedema.
Allergic reactions (hives, severe stomach pain, difficulty breathing, swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat), lightheadedness, dizziness, low urine output, swelling, rapid weight gain, fever, chills, body aches, fatigue, muscle weakness, fast or irregular heartbeat, psoriasis, chest pain, high potassium levels.
Inhibition of Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE), leading to reduced Angiotensin II levels, resulting in lower blood pressure and less aldosterone secretion.
Avoid potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics. Aspirin and NSAIDs might reduce the effects of ACE inhibitors.
Usually taken once daily. Dosage varies depending on the condition being treated. Hypertension: 10mg starting dose, 20mg maintenance dose. Heart failure: 2.5mg starting dose, administered under medical supervision.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C (86°F) in a dry place, protected from light.

Seek immediate medical help. Symptoms of overdose may include low blood pressure, shock, electrolyte imbalances, kidney failure, breathing problems, rapid heart rate, palpitations, slow heart rate, dizziness, anxiety, and cough.
