What are the active ingredients in Rulox Suspension?

Activated Methylpolysiloxane (125.0mg per 5ml), Magnesium Hydroxide (100mg per 5ml), Dried Aluminium Hydroxide (468.1mg per 5ml)

What is Rulox used for?

Peptic ulcer, Dyspepsia (indigestion), Reflux oesophagitis and gastritis, Heartburn (including during pregnancy), Gastrointestinal flatulence and discomfort due to excess stomach gas

How does Rulox work?

Activated Methylpolysiloxane breaks down gas bubbles, Magnesium Hydroxide & Dried Aluminium Hydroxide neutralize excess stomach acid.

How should Rulox Suspension be taken?

Adults: 10ml, 3-4 times daily. Children (6-12 years): 5ml, 3 times daily. Dosage Limit: Do not exceed 90ml in 24 hours. Timing: Take between meals and at bedtime. Shake well before use.

What are the possible side effects of Rulox?

Constipation, Diarrhoea, Vomiting

When should I contact a doctor?

If you experience any serious side effects, unusual symptoms, or take too much Rulox.

Are there any precautions I should take before using Rulox?

Do not use if allergic to ingredients, under 6 years old, prone to constipation or have appendicitis, have kidney disease, hypophosphataemia, or bone disease.

How should I store Rulox Suspension?

Store below 30°C, protect from light, keep tightly closed, do not use after expiry date, keep out of reach of children.

How long does one bottle of Rulox Suspension (200ml) last?

This depends on the dosage. An adult taking 10ml three times a day would use up the bottle in approximately 6.6 days. A child taking 5ml three times a day would use up the bottle in approximately 13.3 days.
