Zinc sulfate monohydrate BP, equivalent to 20mg of zinc per tablet.

Treatment of acute and persistent diarrhea in infants and children up to 5 years of age.
Children 6 months to 12 years: One tablet once daily for 10-14 days. Children less than 6 months: Half a tablet once daily or as prescribed by a physician.
Drugs that may inhibit zinc absorption should not be co-administered with Zinc-20 Tablets.
Zinc may reduce the absorption of tetracyclines, quinolone antibiotics, cephalexin, or ceftibuten.
Nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
Emesis, irritation and corrosion of the gastrointestinal tract, ulceration of the stomach and possible perforation.
Supportive treatment, induced emesis, gastric lavage, activated charcoal, chelating agents.
