Dosage depends on the infection and the patient. Standard dosage is 250 mg three times daily, increasing to 500 mg three times daily for more severe infections. Higher doses and specialized dosing regimens exist. Consult a doctor for specific instructions.
Known hypersensitivity to beta-lactam antibiotics (penicillins and cephalosporins).
