Infections caused by amoxicillin-resistant, beta-lactamase producing organisms, and infections caused by amoxicillin-sensitive organisms. Examples include upper and lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and skin and soft tissue infections.

Allergies to penicillins and cephalosporins, previous Aquaclav-associated jaundice/hepatic dysfunction, and infectious mononucleosis.
