Zinnat is an oral antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections, including respiratory, genito-urinary, skin, and Lyme disease.
Take Zinnat tablets after food. The usual course is seven days (5-10 days depending on the infection). For Lyme disease, it's 500mg twice daily for 20 days. Follow your doctor's instructions.

Tablets are unsuitable for young children unable to swallow them. An oral suspension is available. No experience exists for use in children under 3 months old.
Common side effects include Candida overgrowth, diarrhea, nausea, headache, and dizziness. More serious side effects are possible. Consult your doctor if you experience any side effects.
