What is Fungusol Plus?

Fungusol Plus is a topical cream containing miconazole nitrate (antifungal), dexamethasone sodium phosphate (corticosteroid), and neomycin sulphate (antibacterial).

What is Fungusol Plus used for?

It's used to treat inflammatory skin conditions complicated by bacterial and/or fungal infections.

Who should not use Fungusol Plus?

Individuals with hypersensitivity to any of the cream's components.

Are there any precautions associated with using Fungusol Plus?

Use only for short courses. Regularly review the need for continued therapy. Avoid long-term use, especially with occlusive dressings. Overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms may occur. Use with caution on the face and near the eyes.

What are the possible side effects of Fungusol Plus?

Local sensitivity reactions. Burning and itching. Atrophic skin changes with long-term use. Systemic absorption of corticosteroids, especially with large quantities, wide areas, or occlusive dressings. HPA axis suppression, growth retardation, and Cushingoid state. Benign intracranial hypertension (rarely).

How is Fungusol Plus applied?

Apply and gently massage into the affected area 2-3 times daily, or as directed by a physician.
