E MAL-75 (a-ß Arteether) is a synthetic derivative of artemisinin, used for treating chloroquine-resistant *Plasmodium falciparum* malaria.
Adults: 150 mg (2 ampoules) once daily for 3 days. Children: 3 mg/kg per day intramuscularly for 3 days.
Deep intramuscular injection in the upper-external buttock quadrant.
It targets the *Plasmodium falciparum* parasite, disrupting its ability to survive and multiply.
Caution is advised during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It doesn't interfere with most antimalarials but should not be combined with other artemisinin derivatives.
Neurotoxicity, nausea, dizziness, depressed gastrointestinal activity.
Store below 30°C and protected from light.
