Treatment of muscular and joint pains, including sprains, strains, bruises, soft tissue rheumatism, arthritis, backaches, rheumatism, fibrotitis, lumbago, sciatica, stiff neck, tennis elbow, and rheumatic pain. Also used for stiff nose and aching feel.
Hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients.
Use with caution in patients with vitamin K deficiency, hypothrombinemia, and liver disease, especially before surgery. Avoid application to wounds or broken skin. Use under medical supervision during pregnancy and lactation. For external use only. Do not apply near eyes, on mucus membranes, or on internal skin. Wash thoroughly with water if accidental contact with eyes or mouth occurs. Use with caution in nursing mothers.
Dermatitis, local irritation, erythema, photosensitivity, and pruritus.
No drug interactions have been reported with local application. However, avoid using other topical medications, harsh or abrasive soaps, or cosmetics on the affected area.
Apply 2-3 times a day to the affected area or as directed by a physician. Massage gently into the area until penetration is complete. Massage in a circular motion, moving outward from the center of pain. Continue massaging until the gel disappears completely. Apply as often as necessary. Not to be used on children. Discontinue use if excessive irritation occurs.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
Available in a tube pack of 30g. Active ingredients: Diclofenac Diethylamine BP (equivalent to Diclofenac Sodium BP): 1.16% w/w Linseed Oil BP: 1.00% w/w Methyl Salicylate BP: 3.00% w/w Menthol BP: 5.00% w/w Gel base (quantity not specified).
Overdose is unlikely due to low systemic absorption. No reported cases of Diclomol ingestion.
