Lofnac Gel contains: * Linseed Oil BP: 3.00% w/w * Diclofenac Diethylamine BP: 1.16% w/w (equivalent to Diclofenac Sodium 1.00% w/w) * Methyl Salicylate BP: 10.00% w/w * Menthol BP: 5.00% w/w
Diclofenac blocks the production of prostaglandins, which cause pain and inflammation. * Linseed oil enhances diclofenac's penetration. * Methyl salicylate acts as an analgesic. * Menthol provides a cooling effect.
Apply a 1-inch band of gel 3-4 times daily. * Gently rub the gel into the skin. * A 3 cm blob should suffice, but adjust for the area size. * Do not cover the applied area.
Lofnac Gel is indicated for: * Sprains, strains, bruises, and soft tissue rheumatism. * Pain relief associated with arthritis, backaches, rheumatism, fibrositis, lumbago, sciatica, stiff neck, aching feet, tennis elbow, rheumatic pain, bruises, and chilblains.
Hypersensitivity to any ingredient. * History of asthma, rhinitis, or urticaria after aspirin/NSAIDS. * Last trimester of pregnancy.
Avoid hot baths/showers before/after application. * Do not apply to cuts, wounds, or diseased skin. * Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, genital, or anal areas. * Consult a doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
