This includes conditions like dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps). It can also be used for long-term symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation in chronic inflammatory rheumatic diseases.
The active ingredient in Algafen 200mg Tablets is ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Each tablet contains 200mg of ibuprofen.
Algafen 200mg Tablets are not suitable for: Children under 12 years of age, Individuals with a known hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the excipients in the product, Patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions (e.g., asthma, rhinitis, angioedema, or urticaria) to aspirin or other NSAIDs, Patients with active or recurrent peptic ulcer/haemorrhage, Patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAID therapy, Individuals with severe heart failure, renal failure, or hepatic failure, Pregnant women in the last trimester.
Common side effects may include: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach upset, Heartburn, Dizziness, Headache.
