What are the active ingredients in Exiplon® Expectorant?

Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride BP (14mg per 5ml)
Sodium Citrate BP (57mg per 5ml)
Ammonium Chloride BP (135mg per 5ml)
Menthol BP (1.1mg per 5ml)

Who should not take Exiplon® Expectorant?

Patients hypersensitive to any of its ingredients.

What are the possible side effects of Exiplon® Expectorant?

Drowsiness.

What precautions should be taken when using Exiplon® Expectorant?

Avoid driving or operating machinery if drowsiness occurs.
Avoid alcohol during treatment.

What is the recommended dosage of Exiplon® Expectorant?

Children (2-5 years): 2.5ml three times daily.
Children (6-12 years): 5ml three times daily.
Adults: 10ml three times daily.
Do not exceed recommended dose without doctor's advice.

How long should I use Exiplon® Expectorant?

Consult a doctor if symptoms persist after two days.
