Some patients may benefit from 400 mg total daily dose. Management of Acute Pain: 400 mg initially, followed by an additional 200 mg dose if needed on the first day. On subsequent days, 200 mg twice daily as needed. Treatment of Primary Dysmenorrhea: 400 mg initially, followed by an additional 200 mg dose if needed on the first day. On subsequent days, 200 mg twice daily as needed.

What are the most common side effects associated with Celebrex?

Gastrointestinal disorders: Diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, flatulence. Respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders: Cough, dyspnea. Hepatobiliary disorders: Hepatic enzyme increased (includes alanine aminotransferase increased and aspartate aminotransferase increased). Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: Pruritus, rash, urticaria. Musculoskeletal and connective tissue disorders: Muscle spasms.
