Paracetamol (also known as Acetaminophen).
What is the strength of the syrup?
125 mg Paracetamol per 5 ml of syrup.
What is the intended use of this syrup?
Antipyretic (fever reducer) and analgesic (pain reliever).
What is the dosage for children up to 1 year old?
½ teaspoonful or 2 ml.
What is the dosage for children between 1 and 6 years old?
1 teaspoonful or 5 ml.
What is the dosage for children between 6 and 12 years old?
2 teaspoonfuls or 10 ml.
How often can the syrup be given?
Every 4-6 hours, but not more than 4 times in any 24-hour period.
What should be done if symptoms persist after 3 days?
Consult a doctor.
Where should the syrup be stored?
Below 30°C, protect from light, and keep out of reach of children.
